Date Energy Gel
Nature's original energy source. Five ingredients. Real food fuel for the road.
What's not
in it.
Sports nutrition built shelves of ingredients we can't pronounce. We left them out.
The cheap synthetic carb most gels lean on.
If it tastes like petrol, it probably is.
Because real food doesn't need them.
Every dose on the label. No mystery.
What you read is what you eat.
Bulking agents have no place here.

When to
reach for it.
Long run
30g of dual-transport carbs every 30–45 min keeps the engine fed without the GI spiral.
Race day
From mile 18 / km 30, when the legs argue, ginger settles the stomach and date syrup keeps the tank full.
Hike or ride
Real food fuel for sustained efforts. Five ingredients, no maltodextrin crash, easy on the gut.
After the effort
Replenish glycogen with food the body recognises. No artificial sweeteners, no preservatives.
Five things,
nothing else.
We started with the same fuel mountaineers and shepherds have used for centuries — date syrup. Then we dialled the carb ratio for a 2:1 glucose-to-fructose absorption window, added ginger to settle the stomach.
Why
five.
Most gels are built around a single synthetic carb. Manna isn't. The reasons are below — and they matter at mile 20.
Dual-transport carbs
Glucose and fructose use different gut transporters. Combine them at a roughly 2:1 ratio and the body absorbs more total carbs per hour than glucose alone, without overloading either pathway.
That's the difference between fuelling and bonking from mile 18.
